「言ったでしょ。何年もここにいるんだから、思いつく方法はとっくに試したわよ。」
「お前ら島の住民は素人だ。航海の問題は、名の知れた俺たち稲妻海賊の専門分野さ。俺たち専門家の意見に従うのが得策ってもんだろ！」
「群島の遭難した専門家に聞けっていうの？」

2.迷霧と出口
「聞いてくれよ、この海域の霧は規則性があるようだ。朝から晩まで、それぞれの場所に立ち込めている霧が段々と変化してる。もし俺の考えが正しければ…群島から逃げる出口はどこかの霧に潜んでいるはずだ。それが見つかれば、船でみんなを外へ連れていける。」
「本当に？早く探してみようよ！」
3.月と風向き
「浪の導きに沿って…この方向へと…うん、そして強い風が吹いてくれれば大丈夫だ。」
